As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be part of a passionate and dedicated team working together to provide stability, support, and inspiration to young people when they need it most. What You’ll Be Doing As a Residential Support Worker, your role will include: * Supporting daily routines: Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence * Educational support: Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills * Leading recreational activities: Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well-being. * Emotional support: Providing guidance, care, and person-centered support to help children navigate difficult moments * Documentation: Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records. * Maintaining a safe environment: Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well-organised * Team collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment Every day is unique, with opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of the children you care for.
