Job Title: Year 2 Teacher - Ormskirk Location: North West England, Lancashire, Ormskirk Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £140 - £200 Per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 students Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to parents and stakeholders Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, specifically Year 2 Good knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Proven experience teaching Year 2 students Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field Experience working in a diverse classroom setting Training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management Working Conditions: Temporary position with Full-Time hours Classroom-based teaching in a primary school setting Regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues Potential participation in extracurricular activities and school events All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
