Co-opted (Independent) Committee Member – Finance & Investment Remuneration: £3,286.40 Location: Pontypridd / occasional remote working Time commitment: Approx. 2 days per quarter Bring your financial expertise and collaborative leadership to help shape decisions that improve lives and communities across South East Wales. As a Co-opted (Independent) Member of our Finance & Investment Committee, you’ll be part of the team responsible for overseeing Trivallis’ financial planning, investment decisions, and risk management. This is a Board-level governance position, working alongside our Board, Executive Leadership Team, and other committee members to ensure our organisation remains financially strong, compliant, and focused on its purpose. Your contribution will help shape long-term strategy, provide robust oversight of resources, and keep our commitments to tenants, colleagues, partners, and regulators firmly on track. The work is both strategic and meaningful. The financial decisions you help guide will have a direct impact on our ability to provide safe, affordable homes and invest in the wellbeing of communities across South East Wales. About You You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally with experience contributing at Board or committee level, comfortable bringing both your technical expertise and your judgement to strategic discussions. You can look at the bigger picture while understanding the detail, balancing financial oversight with an appreciation of the people and communities our work supports. You’re collaborative by nature, someone who listens, engages constructively, and builds trust with colleagues from different backgrounds. You’re confident asking thoughtful questions, weighing up complex information, and helping a group reach sound, balanced decisions.
