Assistant Nursery Manager
Kids 1st by Busy Bees is launching a new nursery in Bishopsgarth, Stockton. We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nursery Manager to help us provide children with the best start in life.
Responsibilities
* Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining educational standards
* Develop and deliver an engaging, high‑quality curriculum tailored to children’s needs
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain health and safety standards
* Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team
* Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and promoting a positive nursery experience for families
* Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and recruitment
* Manage operational records and support financial planning to ensure sustainability
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification or above in early years education
* Experience in an early years setting; supervisory experience an advantage, ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills to inspire and support your team
* Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families
