Due to department restructure an exciting new opportunity has arisen to lead the dietetic department whilst providing a specialist service to paediatric patients under the care of our consultant team.
The role will provide the lead to a small but forward thinking and dynamic department of approximately 10 adult and paediatric dietitians, including the line management of the most senior team members. It will also have managerial responsibility for the provision of services to a diverse range of patient care groups across a wide range of developmental and medical disorders.
This role would be suitable for an aspect of home working however clinical commitments would also require the post holder to be present on site.
Main duties of the job
1. To provide management and leadership to the Dietetics department
2. To provide representation of the Dietetic department at focus and steering groups within the Trust (for example Nutrition and Hydration steering group)
3. To provide a clinical service to the paediatric team to include eating disorders, cystic fibrosis and coeliac disease patients.
