Join our award-winning team at The Nelson Trust Women’s Centre in Gloucester as a dedicated Counsellor and help women overcome trauma, mental health challenges, substance use, and justice involvement. What You’ll Do: Deliver one-to-one counselling to women facing multiple disadvantages, using motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a safe, women-only space. Support women on their recovery journeys, ensuring their safety, confidentiality, and well-being. Contribute to the ongoing development of psychological services and the wider Women’s Centre community. What We’re Looking For: Diploma-level counselling qualification and BACP registration (or eligibility and willingness to apply for accreditation). Experience in delivering supervision and support to team members is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
