<div><p>Here at Mayborn we are on the lookout for a Midweight Creative Artworker to join our team at our global HQ in Newcastle upon Tyne on a fixed term basis!</p><p>The team is responsible for driving appeal and consumer delight across every touchpoint of our retail and E-com packaging. With big ambitions to make our brand more relevant and distinct than ever, we’re searching for a detail-obsessed Creative Artworker who brings both design flair and technical precision to every piece of artwork they touch.</p><p>As the Creative Artworker you will have a strong focus on packaging design and preparing artwork for print. Working from approved design templates & master templates from the Artwork Manger & Senior Creative Artworker, you will create accurate, print ready artwork across brand packaging and Information leaflets.</p><h3>What you will be doing:</h3><h3>Templates and Brand Consistency</h3><ul><li>Use agreed design templates & approved packaging templates consistently across all packs, SRPs & IFUs so the full range feels coherent & on brand.</li><li>Apply layout rules, type styles and hierarchy set by the Senior Creative Artworker & Artwork Manager to keep artwork aligned to business guidelines.</li></ul><h3>Design Execution</h3><ul><li>Build packaging and SRP artwork for new and existing products, sizes and variants using existing templates and approved design guidelines.</li><li>Lay out IFUs using supplied content, icons and style guides, ensuring instructions are clear, legible and correctly linked to product packs.</li></ul><h3>Advanced artwork builds and preparation</h3><ul><li>Produce accurate packaging artwork from master design through to print ready files, including IFUs and information heavy packs.</li><li>Prepare artwork with correct layers, bleeds and colour settings, carrying out quality checks before handing to the Senior or Manager for final sign off.</li><li>Manage your own workload across multiple briefs, delivering to agreed timelines within the Creative Team.</li><li>Work closely with the Artwork Manager, Senior Creative Artworker, Designers and key stakeholders to understand briefs, ask questions early and action feedback.</li><li>Follow studio workflows for briefs, feedback, approvals and handover to production, keeping files and versions organised.</li></ul><h3>File and Asset Management</h3><ul><li>Name, store and archive artwork files and linked assets so ranges are easy to find, update and reuse.</li><li>Maintain clear version control across initial artwork, amends and final files.</li></ul><h3>What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:</h3><ul><li>Highly proficient across Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, with strong Photoshop skills.</li><li>Strong design skills with a good eye for layout, composition and typography.</li><li>Experience working from templates and an understanding of how print and finishing affect artwork.</li><li>High attention to detail with a good eye for layout, composition and typography, able to spot spelling, alignment and layout issues.</li><li>Comfortable handling multiple briefs at once and working to agreed timelines.</li><li>Experience in a Creative Artworker, Packaging Artworker or similar production role.</li></ul><p>If this sounds like an exciting opportunity for you, please apply online.
