DUA Assistant – Salary circa £25,000 - Fixed Term Contract until November 2024

We are looking for a confident, detail orientated person to support the rapidly growing Delegated Underwriting Authorities (DUA) team here in Global Corporate Specialty.
We have exciting growth plans over the next 12 months and we need someone who can efficiently manage the “in life” operational processes for each of our Coverholders.
A bit about the job:
Your main responsibilities will be chasing brokers for written and paid bordereaux, ingesting bordereaux into VIPR, booking the premium on a monthly basis into IRIS and Guidewire, attending weekly team meetings, liaising with Underwriters, Brokers, the Credit Control team and Coverholders to resolve any issues.
You will predominantly work with the Financial Lines DUA’s however will be cross trained across all lines of business.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Previous Insurance industry experience
* Detail oriented with a strong problem solving ability
* Confident delivering information to key stakeholders, partnered with the ability to identify errors and escalate when needed
* Bordereaux management experience preferable but not essential
* Delegated Authority knowledge preferable but not essential

* Starting salary circa £25,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
