Your role as Corporate Tax Director
You will take ownership of the Corporate Tax compliance function, ensuring high standards, smooth delivery and a consistently strong client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing complex corporate tax computations and returns
* Leading advisory projects including corporate restructures, tax clearances, share schemes, transfer pricing, CIR calculations, PAYE reviews, due diligence and R&D
* Managing and developing junior team members
* Overseeing your own client portfolio and building long-term relationships
* Liaising with HMRC and external advisers
* Contributing to departmental strategy and growth initiatives
* Using commercial awareness to manage work efficiently and drive profitability
* This role is both operational and strategic, ideal for someone who wants to shape a function rather than simply maintain it.
What we're looking for
* CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
* Practice-trained with recent experience at Senior Manager level or above
* At least five years' post-qualification managerial experience
* Strong advisory-focused Corporate Tax background
* Experience managing a client portfolio
* Proven leadership and team development capability
* Commercially aware, confident communicator and relationship builder
