Your Role
As a key player in our team, you will organize and supervise the unit to meet the high standards set by Compass Group UK & Ireland. Your responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Leadership: Provide guidance and manage the business through your team effectively.
* Team Communication: Motivate and guide your management team and catering staff daily, setting clear operational responsibilities.
* Food & Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with food and health safety procedures in the college catering department.
* Compass Advocacy: Promote the unit and represent Compass with pride.
* Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders.
* Client Hospitality: Ensure all client hospitality meets agreed standards and seek feedback for improvement.
* Service Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance our service and discuss them with your line manager.
* Innovation: Keep the menu fresh and exciting by introducing new ideas and flair.
* Budget Management: Operate within the agreed budget, monitor trends, and take corrective action when necessary.
* Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all customer requirements are met to their expectations.
