Pastoral Department:
The Pastoral Department is the emotional and behavioural backbone of the school, providing tailored support to students facing challenges. As Pastoral Manager, you will work closely with Heads of Year, tutors, the safeguarding team, SEN staff, and the Deputy Head (Pastoral) to ensure that every student feels safe, heard, and fully supported.
Core responsibilities include:
• Managing day-to-day pastoral issues for assigned year groups.
• Leading behaviour intervention plans and wellbeing strategies.
• Maintaining pastoral logs, safeguarding documentation, and communication records.
• Working with families to support students through social, emotional, or behavioural concerns.
• Liaising with external agencies when required.
• Supporting attendance and punctuality initiatives.
• Helping run wellbeing workshops, assemblies, and mentoring programmes.
• Supervising pastoral staff or behaviour mentors.
• Contributing to whole-school policies on behaviour, anti-bullying, and inclusion.

Requirements:
• Experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, or behaviour-focused role.

• Strong organisational ability and calmness under pressure.
