West Suffolk Council Address: West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk IP33 3YU Salary: Starting at £29,540 - £32,597 per annum plus excellent employee benefits package Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Permanent Reference: 0656 We are looking for an efficient and motivated individual to join our dedicated Planning and Growth Technical Support Team at West Suffolk Council. About the role This role sits within the Planning and Growth service of West Suffolk Council and will be based at both our Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall offices. You may reasonably be required to work at any other of the council’s premises as required to meet the needs of the service. At West Suffolk Council we positively encourage agile working. As a key member of the operational support team within planning, you will be assisting with the delivery of effective and efficient administrative and technical support for the planning service. What you will need You will be: a highly motivated self-starter with enthusiasm able to work as part of a team flexible in their approach to work with a ‘can do’ attitude an excellent administrator and communicator skilled in IT and able to move between different systems able to work under pressure and meet deadlines organised with high attention to detail and accuracy.
