Your new role as Manufacturing Engineer
1. Responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment
2. Implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture products.
3. Analysing and reporting on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management
4. Coordinate with production and quality control to help identify any issues affecting production and establish what fixes are required.
5. Development of lean manufacturing principles.
6. Maintaining elements used within the Manufacturing Bill of Materials,
7. Ensure all associated paperwork and reports are maintained and kept up to date.
8. To assist in risk analysis across key assets.
9. Reviewing and calculating the costs of the different tools and equipment in the production process
10. Assist in the execution of engineering projects and tasks.
11. Design CNC programmes
12. Product cost reduction with process capability
What you'll need to succeed
13. Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
14. Knowledge on CNC programming
15. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA and Control plans
16. At least 2 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
