We're partnering with an innovative and growing organisation within the medical technology/manufacturing sector to appoint a General Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role with full operational responsibility across multiple sites.

The Opportunity
As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring operational excellence across two production sites. You'll lead cross-functional teams, drive performance, and implement strategic initiatives to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee manufacturing operations across two locations
* Drive operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
* Lead production planning to meet customer demand and delivery targets
* Manage stock control, supply chain, and inventory processes
* Ensure compliance with medical/quality standards (QMS)
* Take ownership of budgeting and financial decision-making
* Lead and develop teams across operations and customer service
* Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies
* Ensure Health & Safety compliance across the organisation
* Support audits and maintain accreditations
What We're Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Strong background in operations, production, and supply chain management
* Experience managing multi-site operations
* Demonstrated success in process optimisation and continuous improvement
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance
* Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets
* Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. inventory systems, accounting platforms)
* Engineering background preferred
Experience in medical devices or regulated industries is highly advantageous.
