An opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team at Birch Veterinary Centre on a permanent basis. The role involves a mix of consulting and surgical procedures. We serve a diverse client base, including many insured clients and those seeking comprehensive pet healthcare, enabling extensive medical workups and soft tissue & orthopaedic surgeries.

Flexible working that offers real flexibility

We prioritize helping you find a healthy work-life balance. Whether you prefer a fixed rota or flexible hours, we aim to tailor the schedule to suit you. A typical full-time role involves 40 hours per week with options for 1pm or 4pm finish days, and a weekend rota of 2 in 5, alternating between 1pm and 2pm finishes.

About us

We are a busy first opinion veterinary group with three practices based in Cheshire. Our main premises in Oxton have been serving the community for over 100 years, with many clients loyal for decades. Our facilities include 4 consult rooms, a nurse consult room, 2 theatres, a dental suite with digital x-ray, and a fully equipped in-house lab with Idexx, Lasercyte, Catalyst, and advanced monitoring equipment. We also have two smaller consulting-only sites.
