Your new companyA fantastic Science Teacher opportunity is available in a thriving secondary school in Leigh, Wigan, working in partnership with Hays Education.A committed, UK-qualified Science specialist is required from 20th April 2026, up until the end of the academic year, with strong potential to extend into September 2026. * Delivering engaging, challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Creating a classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independent thinking.
* Tracking pupil progress and ensuring high levels of achievement.
* Working collaboratively within a dedicated Science department.
* Bringing science to life through practical work, demonstrations, and clear explanation.
What you'll need to succeed
* A UK-qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS).
* Confident delivery across KS3-KS4 Science, with KS5 experience welcome.
* Someone enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about inspiring young scientists.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
