As a Town Planner, you will be involved in all stages of the planning process-from initial appraisals to application submissions and appeal work.

The successful Town Planner will gain valuable exposure to projects ranging from small-scale infill developments to larger residential and mixed-use schemes, while benefiting from strong mentorship and a clear path to chartership (if not already achieved).

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and manage planning applications, planning statements, and appeals

* Conduct site assessments and planning policy research

* Liaise with local planning authorities, clients, and consultants

* Work closely with architects and senior planners on development proposals

* Attend site visits, public consultations, and planning committees as required

* Support junior colleagues and contribute to team development

Requirements:

* RTPI-accredited degree and working towards chartership (or recently chartered)

* Experience in either the private or public sector

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Good understanding of UK planning regulations and local policy

* Organised, self-motivated, and commercially aware

* Full UK driving licence (or working towards one)

Why Apply for this Town Planner Role?

* Join a friendly, well-established consultancy with strong local knowledge

* Work on a broad range of rural and urban planning projects

* Benefit from hybrid working and flexible hours

* Supportive team with excellent mentoring and training opportunities

* Competitive salary with great progression potential
