Nottinghamshire office + travel throughout the UK
£55,000 + Company vehicle
Join a growing team in the renewable energy sector as a Solar PV Designer. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality domestic and commercial solar projects, combining technical design expertise with customer engagement.
Solar PV Designer - The Role:
1. Survey sites for roof and ground-mounted Solar PV Systems & battery storage
2. Produce accurate technical electrical designs
3. Work with clients to understand requirements and optimise system efficiency/ROI
4. Support project planning, operations and customer experience
5. Specify and order electrical materials, managing supplier relationships
Solar PV Designer - The Candidate:
6. Proven experience designing domestic & commercial Solar PV installations
7. 18th Edition & Solar PV qualification
8. Strong communication & project management skills
9. Team player with attention to detail
10. Full UK driving licence
