Overview
As the Care Home Deputy Manager at a Barchester care home, you'll support the delivery of high-quality care. You'll work closely with the General Manager, taking on leadership responsibilities in their absence. Your focus will be on ensuring care standards, motivating the team, and helping every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Oversee safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve goals and maintain high care standards.
* Lead a multidisciplinary team, monitor standards through audits and supervised clinical practice, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Set high standards and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

* Experience helping residents with different health needs.
* Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
* HR experience; knowledge of sales and marketing; understanding of budget management.
