About you
Our Senior Account Directors lead account teams, are pivotal to the business, and shape the agency's future. They devise strategies to solve client challenges, lead teams, and implement plans. They focus on client satisfaction, performance, work quality, profitability, and growth through new business and upselling. They aim to maintain an engaged, motivated team that delivers excellent work while developing their skills.
Sector intelligence and understanding
Key knowledge and skills include:
* Understanding of milestones, news, and developments in the health and wellbeing sector.
* Thorough knowledge of health policy.
* Ability to interpret implications of sector developments and advise clients accordingly.
* Sharing relevant sector and skills intelligence with the team, including training opportunities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Maintain high standards across all work, including account management, new business, and industry initiatives.
* Lead proposal development, shape ideas and strategies, delegate tasks, and ensure quality delivery.
* Build and oversee account plans, ensuring timely and budgeted delivery with your team.
* Manage relationships with senior clients, providing strategic counsel.
* Support and develop junior team members, seeking growth opportunities for them.
* Identify training needs and lead internal Masterclass sessions.
* Drive organic growth within your client base and pursue new business opportunities.
* Develop strategies and materials for growth and participate actively in pitching processes.
* Contribute to all stages of new business, including research, creative input, and idea development.
* Manage financial aspects of accounts, including invoicing, income recognition, and budgeting.
Contribution to the agency and industry
