Consultant Psychiatrist – Part Time 7 PAs
Overview
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS team in Richmond. The postholder will join 12 CAMHS Consultants within the Trust Service Line. This is a part‑time substantive post, 7 PAs (5 PAs in T3 Richmond CAMHS and 2 PAs in the Kingston and Richmond CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) Service). This post has become available due to the previous post-holder retiring.
Responsibilities
* Provide medical and psychological treatment for individuals and families with severe mental health needs.
* Work within a Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT) providing a community service with close links with local authority, education and the wider borough structure.
* Lead on service development in line with Trust principles and governed by national standards.
* Report to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Clinical Director of South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust.
Qualifications & Experience
This role requires a qualified Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in CAMHS. Candidates should be able to work effectively within a specialist multidisciplinary team and demonstrate commitment to continued professional development.
