NLC5 £26,991 - £28,665 with effect from 1st April 2026.
35 hours per week
Working throughout the North Lanarkshire area, you will work as part of a team responsible for the maintenance of our artificial sports surfaces and Broadwood Stadium football pitch. You will carry out regular inspections of all pitches/stadium and surrounding fencing, brushing surfaces with drag mats and carrying out repairs as appropriate. You will also be responsible for identifying and monitoring weed growth with a view to spraying, if required.
You will have experience of maintaining 3G surfaces, grounds maintenance operations and calibration of fine ground sprayers. You will also have a working knowledge of health and safety regulations and of sportsturf machinery.
A full driving licence is essential, along with experience using Sportsturf machinery and carrying out COSHH assessments. Possessing National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) certifications PA1, PA2, and PA6, as well as a recognised Sportsturf qualification, would be desirable.

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 3.30pm (30 mins unpaid break)

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
