Our client is looking for a highly experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work in a fully remote role, and will be required to attend the Plymouth site every 6-8 weeks. Key Responsibilities: -Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring safety and technical compliance. -Work with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones on time and within budget. -Develop and maintain engineering specifications and documentation. -Conduct engineering analysis and testing to validate designs and performance. -Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide technical support. -Support the lifecycle management of engineering systems, from conception through to decommissioning.
