Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is seeking a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced Pharmacy Stores Team. This role is ideal for individuals considering a career change who wish to apply their experience within pharmacy or logistics in an NHS setting. You will play a key role in supporting the safe and effective supply of medicines and stock across the Trust.
Previous experience in pharmacy or logistics is essential. Full training will be provided to ensure you are supported to work confidently within NHS standards and procedures. Responsibilities
* Support the provision of stock and non‑stock items to wards and departments, including ward top-ups and a range of medicines management duties.
* Support ward automation systems to ensure effective stock control at ward level, and maintain accurate and timely data entry on pharmacy computer systems.
* Process medicine orders under the site Wholesale Dealer’s Licence, in line with relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Carry out general stock management duties across all areas of the pharmacy, including receipt of goods, transfers, stock counts, stock rotation, and investigation of stock discrepancies where required.
* Undertake relevant training to support safe and effective practice.
