About The Role We are firing things up with a brand new outdoor dining experience - serving up handmade pizzas and cooking over open coals. Set to open this summer, its the latest addition to the Carriages Restaurant family, and we are on the look out for passionate Front of House Staff for a fixed term contract until the end of September 2026 to come on board and help us bring this exciting new concept to life. Hours of work are 25 hours per week Friday to Sunday, half an hour unpaid break. Salary is based on £13.46 per hour. On top of your salary, you will get a share of the tips. Position 1 - Friday 11am-8pm, Saturday 2pm-10:30pm & Sunday 11am-8pm. Position 2 - Friday 2pm-10:30pm. Saturday 11am-8pm & Sunday 11am-8pm. Due to the legal requirements under alcohol licensing regulations, we will only consider applicants aged 18 or above. As Front of House you will be: Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanour. Take customer orders and provide menu recommendations. Each day of service to be able to open up and close down at the end of the shift, including all cash responsibilities. Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately. Ensure tables are clean and set up for the next guests. Respond to customers inquiries and resolve any concerns. Use of EPOS. About The Candidate We see that it is essential that the ideal candidate that we are looking for will have/be: Have proven outstanding customer service skills. Preferably previous experience of working in hospitality. Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Be passionate about food.
