We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will play an important part in enhancing the customer experience by supporting sales, assisting with merchandising, and maintaining an organised sales environment.
Responsibilities
* Welcome customers and provide assistance with finding products
* Share product knowledge to support customer needs and satisfaction
* Apply upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
* Keep the sales floor organised, ensuring products are attractively displayed
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
* Handle phone queries related to customer service or orders
* Work closely with team members to meet sales goals and maintain a positive workplace
Skills & Requirements
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
* Basic numeracy skills for transactions and stock handling
* Experience in merchandising or retail displays is a plus
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* A friendly and approachable personality with a focus on excellent customer service
