This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering afuture career in nursing or healthcare. No previous experience as a HealthcareSupport Worker is required. We welcome applications from school leavers, careerchangers, or individuals currently working in administrative, reception, ordispensing roles who wish to develop a clinical career within primary care.
Thesuccessful candidate will be enrolled onto the North Wales HCSW FoundationProgramme, a structured 9-month training programme delivered through thePrimary and Community Care Academy, enabling you to develop the knowledge,skills, and confidence required to support patient care in general practice. About the Role
Working under the supervision of experienced Practice Nurses and the wider clinical team, you will learn to provide safe and effective patient care while undertaking a recognised Level 3 qualification.
As your skills develop, you will support patients and clinicians through a range of clinical and administrative activities.

Training and Development
The successful candidate will undertake the Agored Cymru Level 3 Primary Care Healthcare Support Worker Certificate as part of the HCSW Foundation Programme.
Training includes:
* Professional Practice in Primary Care
* Human Anatomy and Physiology
* Principles of Wound Care
* Safeguarding
* Point of Care Testing
* Personal Development in Health and Social Care
* Practical Clinical Skills Training
* Supervised workplace competency assessments
You will receive support from:
* A named Practice Nurse Supervisor/Assessor
* The GP Practice Team
* A peer support network with fellow HCSW trainees across North Wales

Qualifications
* Good standard of education including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
