Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Plympton for an Automatic Gates & Traffic Barriers professional. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated gates and traffic barriers, ensuring their compliance with industry standards. The position also includes diagnosing faults, providing efficient repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service. Emphasis is placed on ensuring safety and operational reliability of equipment for clients.
Qualifications
* Strong Analytical Skills for diagnosing issues and solving problems efficiently.
* Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in industrial automation, mechanical engineering, or related fields (e.g., NVQ or equivalent).
* Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., DHF, ADSA certifications) is a plus.
* Proactive approach to safety and preventative maintenance practices.
* Experience in working with automated gates, barriers, or access control systems.
