The Role Assistant Head of English
A successful and inclusive secondary school in Enfield is seeking a motivated and ambitious Assistant Head of English to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English teacher ready to progress into leadership within a supportive and high-performing department.
Working closely with the Head of English, you will help shape the curriculum, raise standards, and support staff and students across the department. You will teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available for suitably qualified candidates.
The role includes lesson planning, assessment, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the professional growth of colleagues.
