About The Role
We are looking for an additional Auxiliary in Fabrications, working 37hrs per week on shifts to assist with the smooth flow of contracts through the Fabrication Bay to ensure on-time delivery of our finish product to our customers.
Principle Accountabilities:
* To carry out hydro testing.
* To operate root grinder.
* Drilling of tubes and fitments.
* To carry out dye penetrant testing.
* Lift & sling tubes and assemblies with use of cranes.
* Flexibility to carry out other tasks within the department as and when requited.
* To work to the required quality standards of both Paralloy and our customers.
* Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures.
* General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
* Previous manufacturing & factory experience.
* Experience in hydro testing and the ability to operate a pedestal drill.
* The ability to operate the hydro test.
* Qualified to ASNT or PCN Level II in Dye Penetrant would be advantageous.
* A forklift licence would be advantageous.
* Experience in lifting, slinging and pendant crane operation would be advantageous.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules.
Basic hourly rate £13.54 rising to £14.22 once trained. (Passed probationary period)
