Job Description
Succession Partners are currently working with a profitable and growing business looking to appoint a Financial Controller to work with an ambitious Management team.
Supporting the MD and the Finance Director this role will be responsible for managing the day to day finance and accounting operations across the business.
Responsibilities will include:

* Overall responsibility to produce and review accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
\t
* Financial Processes and controls – take a hands on approach to maintain appropriate financial systems, internal controls, and processes.
\t
* Cash flow & working capital – detailed focus on cash flow forecasting, working capital levels and managing a strong credit control function.
\t
* Statutory – ensuring that the company is compliant with all statutory tax and other fiscal filings.
\t
* Experience dealing with intercompany transactions
\t
* Processing transactions including; purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, payroll journals, bank posting, credit cards and petty cash
\t
* Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
\t
* Senior Management – liaise and support the MD and SLT on ad hoc project work or analysis.
Key skills
\t
* Recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
\t
* Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
\t
* Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
\t
* Strong business systems skills to create meaningful KPI measurement reports, especially Excel.
