As a Commercial Analyst for our restaurant business, you will work within our wider restaurants product and brand team to shape our future food strategy across our 1,200 hotels and branded restaurants. This is part of our growth programme to expand our Food and Beverage business.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will collaborate with teams in commercial, finance, marketing, and product development to provide detailed analysis, trend data, and performance tracking to support effective decision-making, ensuring we deliver the right product positioning for our customers.

What you’ll do:
* Provide a clear view of Whitbread’s food pricing position and range recommendations across our hotels and restaurants, understanding strengths and weaknesses locally and nationally, while keeping up-to-date on industry trends and innovations within the F&B industry.
* Implement, measure, and optimize pricing strategies to meet market position and sales targets while offering value to our guests.
* Track success of campaigns, promotions, and trials, providing key recommendations, monitoring risks, and measuring KPI performance.
* Provide insight and analysis into menu decisions to ensure campaigns deliver against KPIs and objectives.
* Analyze MI data, market, and guest insights to identify opportunities for pricing strategies that maximize performance and profitability, driving growth in food performance.
What we need:
* Experience in a similar analyst role with category experience, or in merchandising, pricing, or range planning within retail, with a good understanding of the F&B industry.
* Strong analytical and commercial skills with the ability to interpret multiple data sources and make informed recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills to engage and influence internal stakeholders.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage workload while responding to changing priorities.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of challenging and making objective recommendations.
