Job Title: Sales Order Coordinator (12 month FTC)
Thales UK is looking to recruit a passionate and organised Sales Order Coordinator to act as the primary contact for customers, providing a variety of direct services throughout the new build/spares/repair cycle, including direct contact with customers through onsite and offsite meetings.
Based in Cheadle (Stockport) for our Front Office and Digital Services Division.
This team is customer-centric, driven by supporting and working together to ensure you meet your goals and achieve the best outcome for the customer. Your role will support the achievement of business unit financial and strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with ethical and contractual commitments and maintaining the commercial integrity of the company's commitments.

What will you deliver?
* Process all enquiries received by the Service Management Office appropriately
* Manage effective communication externally with customers and internally across the organisation
* Liaise across the business to resolve customer enquiries of varying complexity
* Keep reporting systems/tools updated and accurate
* Ensure customer agreements are understood and latest contracts are available electronically
* Maintain awareness and control over all aspects of customer programs, including status, priorities, forecasting, and delays
* Develop relationships with internal and external customers to ensure high service levels
* Accurate data capture for all release, shipping, and dispatch documents
* Release repairs, spares, and manufactured items via the appropriate systems and ensure transaction accuracy
* Promote continuous improvements through LEAN processes
Who are we looking for?
* Experience managing customers in a diverse international market
* Oracle experience or similar ERP system
* Experience in manufacturing and MRP processes in a technology industry
* Understanding of shipping/export and logistics (desirable)
* Knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, or outsourced repairs
* Experience with spares or repairs in aerospace or technology sectors
* Commercial awareness
* Excellent communication skills
* Good numeracy skills and data analysis proficiency
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Initiative and proactive planning skills
