Our client are a global leader in engineering and manufacturing with sites across the globe. They are seeking a production manager to join their Gloucestershire site. The role will suit someone with experience across ensuring multiple teams are able to meet production targets and ensure a high level of quality
Responsibilities – Production Manager
* Prepares annual production budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.
* Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
* Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
* Provides support to the Sales team, as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.
* Collaborates with Operational Excellence teams to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes.
Qualification/Experience – Production Manager
* Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated ability in managing team performance and resource planning to meet operational targets.
* Solid understanding of budget management and capacity planning in a dynamic environment.
* Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
* Experience overseeing end-to-end operational processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance across the full workflow.
