Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a nurturing and inspiring school environment? We are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Infant School in Rickmansworth from Easter 2026 until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position from September 2026 for the right candidate.

This charming and well-established three-form entry Infant School with a 75-place Nursery offers a truly unique learning environment. The spacious site is set within beautiful and extensive grounds, offering a wealth of outdoor learning opportunities including:
* A tranquil pond area
* A spinney and meadow
* A nature trail through historic woodland, famous for its bluebells
* A dedicated growing area and sensory garden
* A range of outdoor learning spaces
* A large playground and field for play and sport
The school building itself is arranged over two levels, connected by a glass corridor and two short flights of steps, creating a light and welcoming environment for learning.
The Role
This is a full teaching role within Key Stage 1, including full teacher responsibilities such as:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who:
* Have a genuine passion for teaching within Key Stage 1
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisation skills
* Are creative, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences
