Overview
First Military Recruitment is seeking a Contract Manager on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will typically work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
Applications from ex-military personnel are encouraged, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements across activities.
* Lead and manage tenders, including bidding, presentations, and mobilization.
* Provide updates on Technical Services delivery to Senior Management & Clients.
* Simplify complex technical information for appropriate responses.
* Identify opportunities to expand and improve service delivery.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet SLA & KPI standards.
* Manage customer relations, including client meetings and prompt handling of inquiries.
* Conduct site visits, gather information, liaise with contractors, assess risks, and prepare quotations.
* Implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
* Manage risk assessments, method statements, and work permits.
* Monitor active jobs, ensuring planning and escalation procedures are followed.
* Compile operational and performance data for client reports.
* Assist in leading the Hard Services division, overseeing work allocation, attendance, performance, motivation, and team support.
Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years’ experience in Contract Management for Hard Services in the FM industry.
* Technical background in M&E preferred.
* Effective prioritization and organizational skills.
* Proven project management experience.
* Experience managing budgets and project finances.
* Operational contract management experience.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Attention to detail and high accuracy.
* Effective communication skills across all levels.
* High standards and a determined approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of CAFM systems.
