About Our Client

Job Description
Core Accounting & Reporting:
* Support the month-end process with preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist with production and analysis of monthly management accounts, including site performance reporting.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with site and central teams.
Operational Finance & Business Partnering:
* Analyse cost drivers and highlight areas of variance, wastage, or inefficiency.
* Work closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement to support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Help identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve process, and increase profitability across departments.
Projects & Continuous Improvement:
* Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team on finance-related aspects of operational change projects.
* Provide insight and data to support business cases for investment or efficiency.
* Challenge existing processes and support the implementation of improved controls and reporting tools.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
* Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
* A recognised qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
* Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within the Manufacturing
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Sound knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
* An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
