Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Soham
Contract: Part-time Permanent
Salary: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)

Qualification: SEN experience (able to provide personal care)
Responsibilities
* Support clients with daily activities, hobbies, and community integration.
* Provide respectful and dignified personal care, including assistance with toileting.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
* Foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment for all clients.
* Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client records.
Preferred Skills
* Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities is desirable.
* Knowledge of care planning systems and key working principles.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to use your own initiative.
* Good IT skills for documentation and record keeping.
* A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.

* Comfortable and confident managing challenging behaviours.
* Ability to engage with and build rapport with the students.
* Creative, proactive and flexible supporting style.
* Experience with SEND or knowledge of learning difficulties.

Note: this role is unable to offer any sponsorship at this time.
All candidates will be subject to child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and satisfactory references. A DBS update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some roles.
