Kenny Recruit are looking for a hungry and committed Accountant to join a well established, yet growing, wellbeing & fitness company. The opportunity here is fantastic, the Finance Director and Finance Manager are looking for an individual who enjoys autonomy and will be solely responsible for their UK entity. Reporting to the Finance Manager, combining both accounting and management skills, you will have overall accountability for preparing, developing and applying findings from financial reports. Responsibilities include maintaining financial policies and management information systems, alongside establishing effective communication channels to inform management on all aspects of company finance. You will be responsible for everything within the UK entity, from accounts payable and payroll through to producing the month end report. You must have experience of working with payroll for this role. * Pay: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience) GREAT benefits bonus study support if required * Location: Chiswick but offer remote working, with occasional travel to head office needed. You MUST live in the UK to be considered for this role * Working hours: 9:00am - 5.00pm Key Responsibilities: * Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with Local GAAP/US GAAP * Monthly balance sheet reconciliations * Performing variance analysis, MOM * Assist the Finance Manager with the annual audit * Process Accounts Payable * Monthly and quarterly VAT preparation for France and the UK * Prepare weekly 13-week cashflow forecast and monthly cashflow forecast * Process payroll for the UK & European employees * Identify opportunities for performance improvement and efficiencies * Maintain strong internal controls and ensure financial integrity, highlighting risks to the Finance Manager Requirements: * Educated to degree level or equivalent * Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience * VAT experience (UK) – nice to have * Minimum 2 years’ UK payroll experience * IT literate - Microsoft, finance and management accounting systems, ERP systems Next Steps… Shortlisted candidates will obviously be contacted for this specific role and if you haven’t heard from us within a week, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
