Head of Informatics / ICB – Contract, Income & Billing Assurance
We’re looking for a senior Informatics leader with mandatory ICB experience to play a key role in strengthening contract performance, income assurance, and data quality across our organisation.
This is a high-impact opportunity sitting at the intersection of data, finance, and commissioning, where you’ll lead on contract billing validation, income reporting, and system-level analytics.
What you’ll do:
* Lead contract, income, and billing informatics at a senior level
* Provide expert insight into NHS payment mechanisms and datasets (SUS, SLAM)
* Oversee invoice validation, financial risk identification, and reconciliation
* Partner with Finance, Operations, and ICB stakeholders
* Deliver high-quality analysis to support major financial decisions
What we’re looking for:
* Essential: Strong ICB experience (contracting, finance, or performance)
* Senior NHS informatics / analytics leadership background
* Expertise in NHS payment systems and income assurance
* Advanced Excel, SQL, and data modelling capability
* Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
