Due to increasing workload, we are seeking a Reinstatement Manager for the Brentwood depot covering the Colchester / Ipswich Area.
Main Purpose of Job
To manage, monitor, and resource contracts to maximize output and profit while minimizing costs, all in compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislation. To maintain quality workmanship while adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment regulations. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aspects of SQS activities in line with the agreed S.P.E.C standards, which include Safety, Productivity, Exceptional Quality, and Customer Service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Include the management and resourcing of contracts to maximize profit and minimize costs by:
* Developing good working relationships and close liaison with clients, project team members, and all interested parties.
* Dealing with variations and valuations (submission and settlement).
* Managing health, safety, quality, and environmental issues in line with S.P.E.C.
* Managing human resources issues.
* Managing teams of operatives.
* Recommending staff training and development.
* Handling customer care issues.
* Maintaining a high standard of quality work.
* Controlling overtime, petty cash, and wages payments.
* Carrying out pre, current, and post-contract management.
* Monitoring overall project/contract performance.
* Ensuring full compliance with legislation and specifications.
* Contributing to the effective management of operatives and contractors.
* Proactively ensuring all KPI targets are achieved and maintained.
* Assisting in the preparation of information for internal reporting.
* Ensuring correct allocation of plant resources.
* Undertaking plant audits.
* Ensuring operatives adhere to the Working Time Directive.
* Managing and ensuring drivers' hours are not exceeded.
* Ensuring all submissions (job cards, Ontrack, etc.) are of high quality.
