Denbury Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club leader to work at our wonderful village school. This Teaching Assistant vacancy will require you to work alongside children to support them with accessing their education and ensuring they are meeting the personal targets set for them. The ability to quickly form a positive working relationship is vital. Previous experience of working with pupils with additional needs is desirable, but full training can be given. You will have initiative and be a confident communicator, with effective numeracy and literacy skills and some knowledge of primary school education. This post is for 5 days a week.
We are also looking to appoint an Breakfast Club leader (Monday - Thursday) who will work to provide a caring, secure and enjoyable environment for all pupils who attend. Our club has been established for several years and gives opportunity for children to take part in fun games and activities. You will be responsible for providing these engaging activities, whilst developing good working relationships with the children and parents alike.
Whilst we are wishing to employ one person for both of these roles, consideration will be given to separating them for the right candidates.
This post is temporary due to unknown budget pressures and the continued availability of child led SEN funding.
