• Strong understanding of current design standards and working practices, including British and European Standards.
• Theoretical and practical experience across concept design, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects, ideally within industrial and/or maritime environments.
• Experience assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazard withstand capability.
• Demonstrated capability in authoring robust technical justifications and supporting documentation to enable approval of electrical design modifications within a high-hazard industry.
• Experience working on multi-discipline engineering projects and providing integrated electrical engineering input.
Experience (Desirable)
• Prior experience within nuclear, defence, or comparable high-hazard regulated environments.
• Familiarity with safety case development tools and methodologies (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP).
