As Clinical Governance Officer, you’ll ensure that our clinical teams operate at their best, offering coaching and development where needed. You’ll be key in supporting the clinical standards that drive excellence across our practices. Key Responsibilities: Investigation and management of optical practice incidents and performance issues to demonstrate impartiality, completeness, and candour. Ensuring that lessons learned are wrapped back into best practice, SOPs/policy, and audit programs Liaising with external stakeholders where necessary (GOC/OCCS/FODO/insurers). Support the development and delivery of clinical audits across the group incorporating processes to enable that the system is consistent and fair. Monitoring of audit systems to ensure that we achieve compliance with the agreed KPIs (engagement and consistency standards). Support the development of SOPs/policies Support the development of training and CPD. The Ideal Candidate: You will be a qualified Dispensing Optician with excellent communication skills and a strong passion for compliance. You should be skilled in building trusted relationships and problem-solving, holding yourself and others to high standards. As our Clinical Governance Officer, you will be required to regularly travel to our Head Office in Darwen, as well as to various practices and Hakim Group events.
