Senior IT Service Manager – Integration Team

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
You’ll work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, taking ownership of complex live services and driving improvements that enhance service quality and user experience across government. Our team supports deployments, configuration, and management of integration products, as well as building self‑service and strategic integration solutions used across DWP and other departments.
Responsibilities
* Define and manage service management processes, SLAs, and OLAs.
* Lead incident, problem and change management.
* Analyse and resolve complex issues, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure products and services meet agreed performance targets.
* Manage staff, support 24/7 operations, and participate in an on‑call rota for incident support, with full training provided.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of the ITIL Service Management Lifecycle.
* Ability to pass Security Check clearance.
* Experience managing complex live services and driving service improvements.
Details – Wages and Perks
Location: Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle‑upon‑Tyne, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: 40% remote, 60% hub.
Pay: £44,447 per year.
Pension: Civil Service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth over £12,876 per year.
Holidays: 26 days starting, rising to 31 days over time; up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi‑time, plus public holidays.
