We are looking to recruit an experienced Female Security Receptionist to join our team who will contribute towards the continuous delivery of our secure service.

Location: Birmingham

Salary: from £23,879 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours contract – shift cover 24/7

St Andrew’s Birmingham is a 118-bed adult mental healthcare facility with eight units covering medium and low security for both men and women. Located in Stirchley, South Birmingham, it is accessible by road and public transport.

The Role

As a key member of the security team, your responsibilities include maintaining security systems and records, key management, processing staff and visitors, managing emergency incidents, and patrolling the site. This role specifically supports female patients in our care.

About you

We are seeking someone with:

* Experience in healthcare or similar sectors
* Experience in security
* Knowledge of security systems
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts on days or nights
* Customer-focused attitude
* Ability to show initiative and adhere to policies for safety and security
* ESSENTIAL - Full UK Driving Licence for Manual Vehicles
