We area leading building services and energy management solutions provider, delivering high-performance Building Management Systems (BMS) to commercial, industrial, and public sector clients. With an expanding project portfolio across London, we are seeking a talented BMS Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in optimising building performance, improving energy efficiency, and ensuring systems operate seamlessly.
The Role
As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation of Building Management Systems across a variety of client sites. You will work closely with project managers, control system specialists, and energy consultants to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Commission, configure, and test BMS hardware and software (Trend, Tridium, Siemens or similar)

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of BMS systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency
*
Diagnose and resolve system faults swiftly to minimise downtime
*
Collaborate with the energy management team to analyse system data and recommend improvements
*
Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users
*
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant standards
*
Document all work accurately, including commissioning reports, service logs, and system updates
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience as a BMS Engineer, Controls Engineer, or similar role
*
Strong knowledge of one or more major BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Tridium Niagara, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls, Schneider)
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical/control schematics
*
Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and analytical skills
*
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
*
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and high attention to detail
*
Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic, or Building Services Engineering
Desirable Skills
*
Experience with energy optimisation projects
*
Familiarity with integration of BMS into wider building systems
*
CSCS/ECS card
