As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s daily routines, including sensory activities, personal care, and toileting, while gaining valuable insight into the therapeutic approaches used by Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

You’ll help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, using art, music, play, and creativity as therapeutic tools to engage and support the children in their learning and emotional development.

Global Development Delay (GDD)

Global Development Delay refers to significant delays in two or more areas of a child’s development, such as motor skills, speech, cognition, or social-emotional growth.
In this role, you will work closely with children who have GDD, understanding their individual needs and sensory preferences to help them thrive.
Your support will be key in promoting their development, independence, and overall quality of life.

Why Join Us?

5. Make a Difference: Use your creativity and empathy to support children with complex needs and help them reach their full potential.

6. Gain Experience: Develop practical skills in a therapeutic and educational setting—perfect for aspiring Art Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Clinical Psychologists.

7. Work-Life Balance: Enjoy term-time hours and school holidays.

8. Supportive Environment: Be part of a dedicated team that values kindness, patience, and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

9. A caring, patient, and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for working with children.

10. Psychology or Art graduates who are open to personal care and understand the importance of therapeutic support in education.

11. A proactive attitude, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.

12. An understanding of how art, music, and play can be used therapeutically to support children with SEN.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey towards a career in clinical psychology, therapy, or SEN education—while making a tangible difference—we’d love to hear from you!
