About the Learning Support Assistant Role
1. Salary: £101.40 per day
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm (term time only)
3. Start Date: 5th November 2025 – Trial days and interviews taking place beforehand
4. Location: Tower Hamlets
As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s daily routines, including sensory activities, personal care, and toileting, while gaining valuable insight into the therapeutic approaches used by Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.
You’ll help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, using art, music, play, and creativity as therapeutic tools to engage and support the children in their learning and emotional development.
Global Development Delay (GDD)
Global Development Delay refers to significant delays in two or more areas of a child’s development, such as motor skills, speech, cognition, or social-emotional growth.
In this role, you will work closely with children who have GDD, understanding their individual needs and sensory preferences to help them thrive.
Your support will be key in promoting their development, independence, and overall quality of life.
