Professional Services Account Manager at Venesky-Brown Recruitment
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in East Renfrewshire, is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Repairs Delivery Manager for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend on a rate of c£24.76 - £27.07 per hour PAYE. This role will be based on site.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Repairs Delivery Manager in implementing the housing repair and maintenance programme and ensure high-quality, customer-focused service delivery.
* Manage day-to-day operations of Technical Officers, store personnel, and oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with procurement and safety regulations.
* Monitor performance, enforce procedures, and support staff development through training and supervision.
* Contribute to service improvements, embrace digital transformation, and support organisational change initiatives.
* Ensure health and safety policies are followed, statutory requirements are met, and resources are used efficiently.
* Handle customer complaints, insurance inquiries, and electrical compliance documentation.
* Maintain records of electrical inspections, tests, and certifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations).
* Supervise and develop staff, manage budgets, and contribute to strategic planning and policy adherence.
Qualifications include:
* Educated to standard grade or equivalent
* Professional qualification (HND or HNC + relevant health and safety qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH)
* Knowledge of maintenance/building trades within a local authority context
* Experience in supervising repairs services, enforcing policies, and managing budgets
* Proficiency in MS Office and industry-related software
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
