The role As a Senior Finance Analyst within our Commercial Garages and Tyres team, you'll support the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering the analysis, reporting, and modelling that keeps the Garages business informed and performing. This is a role with genuine commercial depth, sitting close to the action and providing the insights that influence real trading and margin decisions across one of our key business areas. Day to day, you'll support month end reporting, contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, and provide analysis around risks and opportunities across sales and margin in Garages. You'll work with a range of stakeholders across the Commercial Finance team and wider business, delivering KPI analysis, trial modelling, and post evaluations, as well as digging into market, price, promotional, and competitor insight to help the team stay ahead. Key responsibilities Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering accurate, insightful analysis, reporting, and modelling to the Commercial Garages and Tyres category teams Contribute to month end reporting and ad hoc analysis, ensuring trading and margin performance is accurately reported to the business Provide quantified analysis of risks and opportunities across sales and margin within the Garages business Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across annual and quarterly business cycles, driving continuous improvement in processes and collaboration with each cycle Deliver timely and accurate KPI analysis, trial modelling, net profitability assessments, and post evaluations to relevant departments Drive market, price, promotional, customer, and competitor investigation and insight to support commercial decision-making Work collaboratively across the wider Commercial Finance team, providing ad hoc support as required to contribute to overall team objectives About you Currently studying towards a professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA, with demonstrable commercial acumen and curiosity Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, and performance reports that identify risks and practical opportunities Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets from multiple sources and present findings clearly Data literate and detail-oriented, comfortable maintaining accuracy across complex data and delivering clear visuals and trend analysis A confident and professional communicator, able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across different functions and adapt to different working styles Experience with SAP, Power BI, Copilot, or AI tools is advantageous A genuine team player who is enthusiastic about developing their skills and contributing to both team and business performance Reward & benefits A fair and competitive salary evaluated against market data, annual discretionary bonus scheme, pension, life assurance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and enhanced family leave.
